Meta. After decades and decades of being lambasted for rewarding the regular listener to the show by doing in-jokes, forth wall breaking and the usual joke about practicing that better in rehearsal, this whole show started so fucking meta, and pretty much stayed that way the whole time. We are Abe-less again which means he missed out on the fun (although there are only so many pjotos of Barry and Robin, we neeeeeeed Mauruce back).
